Celine Dion Cancels More Shows On Doctors Orders
Those of you hoping to catch one of Celine Dion?s shows soon are just going to have to wait. The singer is under strict orders from her doctor to rest her voice. Celine was set to do some shows at Las Vegas’ Caesars Palace but her doctor has put the kibosh on her plans, for good reason of course. Apparently Dion is suffering a virus that is causing her vocal chords to get inflamed. Having inflammation in the vocal chords is not a good thing for a singer, as I am sure you can imagine. That being said she needs to rest her money maker for at least six to eight weeks per her doctor. One of the producers with the show, Christi Nelson has reportedly shared that all shows will resume on June 9th. This is of course providing that Dion?s voice is ready to go by then. As you may or may not be aware at the beginning of this week it was announced that the ?My Heart Will Go On? singer would be canceling her shows through Monday March 5th, clearly the situation has gotten worse than anyone originally thought. Final Oscar Predictions: Oui, It’s “The Artist”
We’ll talk more this weekend but I want to get this posted. I’ll be applauding loudly when The Artist wins. Everyone always complains that Oscar doesn’t appreciate comedies and then when they do, everyone always screams “trifle!” with holier than thou disgust; the Academy can’t win! But this (presumed) winner is a beauty. All twinkly-eyed, big hearted and (mostly) light on its feet. The only real question seems to be how many Oscars will it win. I’m guessing seven… though three of those guesses are easy to see flopping (Actor, Costumes, Cinematography). I don’t see it any scenario where it wins Art Direction, Supporting Actress or Screenplay so I’m guessing seven is the maximum. Since you can make such a viable argument for literally any of the five nominees to win Costume Design, I’m guessing the showiness / baitiness of all of them will tip things ever so slightly into the Artist column, which is also I think what’s going in Cinematography. I just can’t quite believe that “El Chivo” will finally win the gold he’s deserved for so long (the latest chance being with The Tree of Life). I’ve highlighted the true nailbiter categories in red; if you get them right you win the Office Pool.

Will Win: The Artist
Spoiler: The Descendants and The Help are the only films with spoiler heat but even if you try and talk yourself into them, you think you’re lying right?
Should Win: Haters gon’ hate but The Artist is a beautiful funny rare gift.
Best Director
Will Win: Michel Hazanavicius, The Artist
Spoiler: Martin Scorsese started precursor season strong with Hugo but the movie has been cooling so I have to wonder if it isn’t Alexander Payne in second position for The Descendants
Should Win: I’ll clap loudly for Hazanavicius but if they decide not to give the Artist everything, a surprise career win for Terrence Malick would be delicious

Uma Thurman Pregnant With Third Child
Mom-to-be will star as Robert Pattinson’s love interest in ‘Bel Ami.’

Uma Thurman is a mama-to-be once again. According to E! Online, the “Kill Bill” and “Bel Ami” actress and her financier beau Arpad Busson will welcome a new bundle of joy into the world later this year.
The new addition to Thurman’s family will join her children Maya, 13, and Levon, 10, with whom she shares custody with ex-husband Ethan Hawke. Hawke has expanded his family in recent years as well. After marrying his and Thurman’s onetime nanny Ryan Shawhughes in 2008, the happy couple has welcomed two children of their own: Clementine, 3, and Indiana, 6 months.
Although Thurman will likely begin preparations for her new arrival, fans will get to see more of the 41-year-old beauty in Robert Pattinson’s next film, “Bel Ami,” which opens in March. Thurman has been fortunate to have co-starred with a slew of handsome younger men in her films over the years, which she said she has not taken for granted: “I have been cast opposite a lot of really handsome, charming young men,” she told MTV News, laughing, last April. “It’s nice work when you can get it.
“I’ve also worked with some of the world’s most wonderful esteemed older men throughout my career, who were wonderful people to learn from and be with. I think the exploration of people relating in different generations is something that is really current,” she continued. “And it’s fun. It’s wonderful to have. I can’t just speak about it romantically, but it’s wonderful to know people at all different stages of life.”
Speaking of her work with her very popular “Bel Ami” co-star and international heartthrob, Thurman has had nothing but high praise for Pattinson: “Robert Pattinson is, I think, going to be a really serious actor,” she shared. “I think he’s incredibly concrete in his presence on the set and obviously is very handsome. [He] is a very nice person, and he’s sensitive. He’s present. … He’s a really good actor.”

Ray J Accuses Kim Kardashian of Infidelity, Sexual Hypnosis
Ray J has come out with a new book. We’ll give you a few moments to stop laughing…
Titled “Death of the Cheating Man” and co-authored with some guy named Maxwell Billieon, the tome alleges that Kim Kardashian cheated with then-husband Damon Thomas in 2004 when she started boning her future sex tape partner.
“She let me know she wanted to get with me,” Ray J writes. “She left her husband for me as soon as we started having sex.”
Ray adds that he had “no respect” for Kim while they dated, but then makes it clear why he stuck with her anyway.
“We were like animals; sexually free to try anything, and we did,” he writes. “For years KK and I had a great sex life. There was more to our relationship, but the majority of it was about our wild and extreme sexual chemistry. She was a straight freak who was down to do whatever, whenever and that seriously hypnotized me.”
